The Roar is Back: Watch the Blue Angels Practice from Your Own Private Pontoon

The sound of freedom has returned to the Emerald Coast! The U.S. Navy Blue Angels have officially kicked off their 2026 practice season at

. While thousands of fans will flock to the hot, crowded flight line, savvy locals and visitors know the secret to the best seat in the house: watching from the water.

At Pensacola Pontoons, we offer the ultimate way to experience these world-class maneuvers without the base traffic or the bleacher crowds.

Why Watch the Blue Angels from a Boat?

Renting a pontoon boat gives you a front-row, 360-degree view of the action that you just can’t get from land.
  • Beat the Traffic: Avoid the massive backups at the NAS Pensacola gates and the “REAL ID” security vetting required for base access.
  • Ultimate Comfort: Trade hard bleachers for cushioned lounge seating. Bring your own cooler, snacks, and favorite drinks to enjoy while the jets roar overhead.
  • Secluded Views: Anchor near Fort Pickens or Sand Island for an unobstructed view of the squadron’s high-speed rolls and diamond formations.
  • Dolphin Sightings: Most of our guests spot local bottlenose dolphins playing in the bay on their way to the viewing spot.
